Melanie Ramos (she/her) is an undergraduate psychology student at CSUDH. Her research interests center on children's mental health and the environmental and biological factors that shape children's emotional and behavioral development. She is particularly interested in identifying protective factors that promote positive mental health outcomes and reduce mental health disparities among underserved populations. In the future, she hopes to attend medical school and become a child psychiatrist by combining research and clinical practice to improve mental health outcomes for children and adolescents.
