Eric (he/him) is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology M.A. program at California State University, Dominguez Hills to become an LPCC. He graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from CSUDH in 2024. He currently provides therapy to Veterans and the general population struggling with various disorders as an intern at Aragon and Hernandez Social Services.
His research interests include the experiences of immigrants, with a focus on acculturation, stress, and the psychological impact of navigating through multiple cultural identities. In addition, he is also interested in themes of belonging and intergenerational trauma, observing how historical and family experiences can shape mental health across generations. After completing his M.A., Eric intends to complete his licensure as an LPCC. He aims to work in clinical settings with marginalized communities with the goal of integrating trauma informed care and culturally responsive practices to support the well-being of underserved populations. Outside of academic activities and interests, Eric enjoys photography, visiting art museums, spending time with friends and family, as well as playing video games.
