Audrey Fernandez (she/her/hers) is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology M.A. program at California State University, Dominguez Hills, on the LPCC pathway. She graduated from California State University, San Bernardino in May 2026 with a B.A. in Psychology. Her academic and research interests center on resilience in adolescence, parent-child relationships, and prevention-focused approaches to mental health. She is particularly interested in understanding how healthy parent-child relationships and early preventative interventions can help reduce the development or worsening of mental health disparities among adolescents.

As a graduate student, Audrey hopes to further explore the role parents can play in supporting adolescent mental health and building resilience during critical stages of development. Her long-term goal is to complete her M.A. at California State University, Dominguez Hills and pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, where she hopes to continue developing her research, clinical interests, and educate/mentor undergraduate students. 

Outside of her academic and research interests, Audrey loves to crochet and sharing her handmade crocheted creations at local flea markets. She also loves going to Disneyland with her boyfriend and holds an annual pass. She also loves to do any sorts of arts n’ crafts, eating good food, and collect trinkets.
