Isabella Burga (she/her) graduated with a BA in psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2025. She is currently a post baccalaureate research assistant at the PERCH Lab focusing on promoting early resilience in children’s mental health. Her research interests include the benefits of resilience in marginalized adolescent groups, the biopsychological effects of stress on the brain, and also addiction. Isabella plans to apply to graduate programs to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. While outside the lab, Isabella likes cooking, hiking, and video games.
