Crystal Soto (she/her) is a fourth year undergraduate psychology student, pursuing her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She plans on getting her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Childhood Development. Currently, she works as a case manager for elementary school students.

Crystal’s research interest lies in the field of trauma in children. Her goal is to explore the impact trauma has in early childhood in regards to the neurological, psychological, and physiological aspects of development. She wants to help identify early interventions that can help guide children past their trauma to have a more meaningful and fulfilled life.

Crystal’s overall goal in life is to have her own private practice that aids children in exploring who they are, while simultaneously helping them overcome their trauma.
