Karina Del Real (she/her) is a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology M.A. program at CSUDH. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2022.

Karina’s research interests focus on how early life experiences, family relationships, and environmental factors shape children’s emotional, social, and psychological development. She is also interested in how culture, access to resources, and systemic barriers affect children and adolescents from marginalized communities. She hopes to learn more about the needs of underserved youth and the factors that can promote healthy development and well-being.
